CAMBRIDGE POLICE ARREST MAN FOR OBSTRUCTING AND HINDERING, ALONG WITH RESISTING ARREST
Cambridge, MD - On April 11, 2024, Cambridge Police Department (CPD) Officers responded to a disturbance on Greenwood Ave around 2:26 am. Upon arrival, officers found a man, identified as 37-year-old Rollie Darnell Williams, outside a residence holding a small child. Williams was reportedly irate and arguing with another individual.
Despite officers' efforts to calm the situation, Williams acted belligerently and refused to cooperate during the investigation.
As the situation escalated, officers moved to take Williams into custody. He resisted arrest, attempting to pull away from the officers.
He was eventually arrested and taken to the Cambridge Police Department for processing, where he was charged with Obstruct and Hindering and Resisting Arrest.
Following his initial appearance, Williams was released on his personal recognizance.
