CAMBRIDGE MAN ARRESTED FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Cambridge, MD - On March 17, 2024, at around 12:56 pm, officers of the Cambridge Police Department responded to a call about a disruptive individual at the intersection of Washington St. and Center St in Cambridge, Maryland.
The man, later identified as 31-year-old Randy Leroy Bell from Hurlock, Maryland, was seen making derogatory gestures towards officers upon their arrival. Upon contact, officers inquired about Bell's well-being as he continued obstructing the roadway and delaying passing cars.
Ignoring police instructions, Bell refused to clear the way, leading to a gathering of spectators, which escalated the situation further. Cambridge Police Department officers, having no other option, placed Bell under arrest and transported him to the Cambridge Police Department for processing.
After being processed, Bell was released on Criminal Citations. He faces charges including Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Obey Lawful Order, and Public Intoxication.
