CAMBRIDGE MAN ARREST ON MULTIPLE ACTIVE WARRANTS
Cambridge, MD - Timothy Joseph Roberts, a 50-year-old man from Cambridge, Maryland, was arrested by officers from the Cambridge Police Department on February 17, 2024, at around 8:10 am. Roberts was apprehended on multiple active warrants.
The first warrant (Warrant #1) was issued by the Dorchester County District Court for Failing to Appear in court on January 31, 2024. The original charges were related to the possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS), excluding cannabis. Roberts was initially released on a $2,500.00 unsecured bond.
The second warrant (Warrant #2) was also from the Dorchester County District Court. This warrant was for failure to appear in court on the same date, with original charges pertaining to the possession of CDS paraphernalia. For this charge, Roberts was released on personal recognizance.
Lastly, warrant #3 involved a parole commission warrant used as a detainer. Roberts was held at the DCDC in relation to this warrant.
Following his arrest, Roberts was handed over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections.
