BALTIMORE MAN CHARGED WITH THEFT FROM WALGREENS IN CAMBRIDGE MARYLAND

Cambridge, MD-On November 8, 2024, local law enforcement officers and detectives were called to a Walgreens store for a theft complaint. According to the Cambridge Police Department, a person had allegedly stolen some items from the store.

The store's management provided a detailed description of the suspect, aiding the law enforcement officials' search. Cambridge Police Department detectives then spotted an individual bearing the described appearance around the Super Soda, located in the 100 block of Cedar Street in Cambridge, Maryland.

The individual was identified as Robert Smith, aged 47, from Baltimore, Maryland, was subsequently approached by the detectives and officers for questioning. An inspection of Smith's belongings revealed a collection of personal hygiene items, all bearing the Walgreens label. The value of the recovered items was estimated to be approximately $225.00.

Law enforcement promptly issued Robert Smith with a Criminal Citation and he was later released. The charges filed against him categorize the theft as valued between $100 and under $1,500.
