ARREST MADE IN PINE KNOLL DRIVE SHOOTING
Princess Anne, MD - On May 19, 2024, officers from the Princess Anne Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on Pine Knoll Drive in Princess Anne, Maryland. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with a gunshot wound.
Tragically, the victim, identified as Deshay Cephas, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Through a thorough investigation, officers identified Jaquan Paris McCarter as the shooter, and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued. With the assistance of the Laurel Police Department, McCarter was apprehended on May 29, 2024.
