Salisbury, Maryland - Are you getting ready to start Medicare but don't know how to go about it?

MAC's Welcome to Medicare class can provide the information you need.

The free class is packed with information designed to help the public better understand Medicare and how it works, including timelines, costs, coverages, fraud, Advantage plans, supplemental plans, and your rights as a Medicare recipient.

Welcome to Medicare is for individuals who are still working, retired, or on disability - for anyone who is getting ready to start Medicare.

The following classes are scheduled at MAC:

• Thursday, July 11, 5-7 p.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon
• Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 2-4 p.m.

Classes are presented by MAC's State Health Insurance Program (SHIP). Class size is limited, and registration is required. No walk-ins please. To register, call 410-742-0505.
