ALBERTA BATEMAN PETTIT CHARGED FOLLOWING DRUG INVESTIGATION
Salisbury, MD - The Wicomico County Sheriff's Community Action Team (CAT) conducted an investigation into individuals distributing controlled dangerous substances (CDS) from a residence located in the 1200 block of Nokomis Avenue in Salisbury, MD. CAT had received complaints about CDS activity at the residence, and a drug investigation was initiated.On May 26, 2023, members of the Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team and the Salisbury Police Tactical Team executed a search warrant at the residence. A search by members of CAT and the Criminal Investigation Division revealed 15 individual bags of crack cocaine, 9.23 grams of heroin, packaging material, and other items indicative of CDS distribution.
