A WORKPLACE THREAT LANDS A BRIDGEVILLE WOMAN IN JAIL ON WEAPONS VIOLATION

Bridgeville, DE - Delaware State Police have taken into custody 29-year-old Neydi Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez from Bridgeville, Delaware following an altercation at Mountaire Farms.  Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez allegedly committed a weapons-related offense.

The incident happened on a Tuesday evening, February 7, 2024, at about 6:18 p.m, when officers from the Delaware State Police were summoned to Mountaire Farms, located at 29005 John J. Williams Highway in Bridgeville, Delaware. The call was related to a reported case of aggravated menacing that was said to have transpired between two employees the preceding night.

Upon conducting their investigation, the police were able to establish that during the argument, Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez allegedly brandished a knife and used it to threaten a 32-year-old coworker. Fortunately, the incident didn't escalate any further as no injuries were recorded from the incident.

Following the altercation, law enforcement officers quickly apprehended Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez at the scene without causing any further incident.

Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez was then taken to Troop 4 for further processing. She was charged with several offenses and the case was presented before Justice of the Peace Court 3. After her arraignment, Gomez-Perez-De-Galvez was released on an unsecured bond set at $22,000.
