77th Annual Hard Crab Derby
Crisfield, MD: The National Hard Crab Derby is known to be one of the most premier events in the City of Crisfield. This family fun and "homecoming" community event recaps much of Crisfield's history and hosts many events throughout the duration of Labor Day weekend. With the City of Crisfield being designated as the "Crab Capital of the World", events such as the Crowning of Miss Crustacean as well as the Little Miss and Mister Crustacean, the Crab Cooking Contest, Crab Picking Contest, Crab Races, Crisfield Bock Docking, Main Street Parade and a lot of crab on the menu all display the importance of our heritage and we would like to assure that this event carries on this tradition for years to come. The National Hard Crab Derby makes Crisfield a destination not only for the locals, but for visitors from all over the surrounding areas.

The fairgrounds will have a children's carnival with a variety of rides and the concert series at this year's Crab Derby is fantastic as always! We will be opening the event on Friday evening with the playing of the National Anthem followed by a MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE CONCERT.
On Saturday we will be having SMITTY & ON THE EDGE back by popular demand live on stage. Both Friday and Saturday you can buy a VIP table for 10 people and have your own bar service for the night! On Sunday there will be some sweet tunes from TIM & SAVANNAH FINCH AND THE EASTMAN STRING BAND along with Line Dancing from THE DANCE BARN.
In addition to our phenomenal live music, we are also planning to have new attractions, including a basketball tournament and will be offering more entertainment, rides, food vendors and fun throughout the entire Labor Day weekend! On Sunday, we will have a special church service in the morning and a Christian concert with faith based entertainment. Don't forget our Annual Boat Docking Competition at the Crisfield City Dock in the afternoon and then we will be closing out the weekend with FIREWORKS!

Depending on your sponsor level for the National Hard Crab Derby, you will receive sponsorship recognition on posters, banners and announcements on stage during events and concerts along with website and social media blasts, vendor spots, VIP parking passes, Captain's Deck Boat docking seats and VIP wristbands! Boat docking sponsorships include event t-shirts, advertising on those t-shirts along with media ads and announcements during the event as well as a special catered prime seating area under the condos!
