2025 BERLIN FACADE GRANT PROGRAM RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED

Worcester County, MD - The Town of Berlin, Maryland, has announced the recipients of the 2025 Berlin Façade Grant Program in collaboration with Berlin Main Street. A grant of $50,000 from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will support this initiative, which offers one-to-one matching funds to commercial property and business owners for exterior building improvements.
The program aims to revitalize Main Street and support local businesses while preserving the town's character. Ivy Wells, the Economic and Community Development Director, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing efforts, stating that the grant program enables local enterprises to make necessary building improvements and demonstrates their commitment to the community.
This year's grant recipients include The Atlantic Hotel, Bay Four LLC, Roadie Joe's Berlin, Decatur Investments, Salon 16, Café Berlin, and The Ghost Museum.
Mayor Zack Tyndall emphasized the program's significance in enhancing Berlin's Downtown Business District and acknowledged the contributions of local business owners in making the town an attractive place to live, work, and visit. He also expressed gratitude to DHCD for their support in maintaining this essential program.
