Salisbury, MD – Local Law Enforcement has arrested Little Price Brooken and Georgianna Shockley following a investigation into thefts from motor vehicles.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) and the Salisbury Police Department (SPD) recently took reports for thefts from motor vehicles stemming from January 14 through January 17, 2023.
One of the incidents occurred in the 800 block of Snow Hill Road in Salisbury, Maryland, where US currency and a credit card were stolen. A second incident was in the 800 block of N Division Street in Salisbury, MD, where the suspect broke the rear window and stole credit cards from the vehicle. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division assumed the investigation.
Little Price Brooken, of Salisbury, MD, was developed as a suspect in the crimes. It was determined that Brooken utilized the stolen credit cards at numerous locations throughout Salisbury, MD.
On January 18, 2023, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team (CAT) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle Brooken was driving. A K-9 scan was conducted of the vehicle, which resulted in a search of the vehicle.
A small amount of crack cocaine, .22 caliber ammunition, and a crack pipe was located. Brooken and the front seat passenger of the vehicle, Georgianna Shockley, were both arrested. Brooken is prohibited from possessing ammunition due to previous felony convictions.
As a result of the investigation, a search and seizure warrant was authored for Brooken’s apartment, which is located in the 600 block of Smith Street in Salisbury, MD. Members of the Salisbury City TAC team assisted WCSO CID with the search warrant execution.
Clothing items were located in apartment of Brooken, that Brooken wore during the crime, further connecting him to the incidents.
Brooken was charged with theft $100-$1500, Rogue and Vagabond, stealing another’s credit card, utilizing a stolen credit card, possession of cocaine, and possessing of ammunition by a prohibited person.
Shockley was charged on a criminal citation for possession of the crack pipe and released.
Brooken is currently being held on a $10,000 bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
On January 24, 2023, a detective completed an application for charges for Brooken for the second theft incident. The District Court Commissioner issued a criminal summons for theft and MDOP-related charges.
Brooken was then served at the Wicomico County Detention Center on January 25, 2023.
Brooken is suspected of being involved in additional theft from motor vehicle-related incidents in the Salisbury, MD area.
