Over the course of the past month, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team, hereinafter referred to as CAT, conducted an investigation into Levonte Jamar Dockins. The investigation was based around Dockins selling controlled dangerous substances from his residence, which was located in the 200 Block of Broad Street, Salisbury, Maryland.
Detectives from CAT authored a search and seizure warrant for the residence on Broad Street. Detectives had knowledge that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Dockins due to an unrelated case.
On March 26, 2021, the Capital Area Regional Task Force, CAT, and CID established surveillance on the residence. Levonte Dockins was observed standing in the front yard of his residence and was taken into custody for the aforementioned arrest warrant.
After Levonte Dockins was in custody, the search and seizure warrant was executed at the residence on Broad Street. A thorough and systematic search of the residence was conducted, at which point detectives located and seized of 58.39 grams of Methamphetamine, 5.45 grams of Cocaine, $14,666.00 in U.S. currency, digital scales and other accoutrements related to the packaging and distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
Dockins was charged with the controlled dangerous substance offenses and transported to WCDC where he is currently held without bond. Dockins was officially charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Narcotics, Possession with intent to distribute, Possession Not-Marijuana (2 counts), and Narcotic Production Equipment.
