Salisbury, MD – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office and the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center have conducted an investigation into the 2-year-old child who was found not breathing on Saturday in Salisbury, Maryland, and a 12-year old juvenile has been charged as a result of the investigation.
On September 16, 2023, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to Jack Drive in Salisbury, MD in reference to the death of a 2-year-old child.
Detectives from the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center responded and conducted an investigation.
Detectives spoke with the caregivers in reference to the circumstances surrounding this incident. The investigation led to charges being issued for a 12-year-old child, who resides in the same home, for the death of the younger child.
The 12-year-old child was arrested and transported to the Lower Eastern Shore Children’s Center where he is currently being held.
