Wicomico County, MD – As Wicomico County and the State of Maryland begin the rollback for the upcoming end of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), effective Monday, September 12, 2022, applications for the Wicomico County ERAP will be required to include one of the following;
- 2021 income tax return,
- List of income by each member of the household with documentation, or
- Provide documentation of income-based federal or state assistance programs.
Along with this change, all applicants, unless using the self-certification or unemployed option, will be required to show verification of all household income for the past 30 days.
Furthermore, the Wicomico County ERAP program will stop accepting new applications for assistance effective November 1, 2022. Applications submitted prior to this date will continue to be processed.
Once all applications received have been processed, a press release at the time will outline the process with any potential remaining funds.
