Crisfield, MD – On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at approximately 2:52 PM, Eastern Shore Undercover alerted the community via our Facebook page about a Crisfield Residential Structure Fire. The fire took place at 226 Somers Cove in Crisfield, Somerset County, Maryland.
The structure that was on fire was a two-story townhome and was occupied by Mrs. Brittany Byrd.
The structure suffered a loss of $45,000 in damage, and also there was a loss of contents estimated at $5,000.
The fire originated in the kitchen, on the countertop, and was ruled to be accidental due to unattended cooking.



There were approximately 25 firefighters from Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department and the surrounding additional departments needed to control the Crisfield Residential Structure Fire.
