Amber Bryan Refuses To Comply With Protective Order, Ends Up Arrested

On the evening of Saturday, July 24, 2021, Deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in the 6000 block of Sixty Foot Rd, Pittsville, Wicomico County, Maryland, to serve an Interim Protective Order on Amber Bryan.

In the State of Maryland, you may obtain a Protective Order for any of the following:

  • Any act that may cause serious bodily harm (Most forms of Assault)
  • Any act that places an individual in fear of imminent serious bodily harm (including threats of harm)
  • Assault
  • Rape or sexual assault (including attempts)
  • False imprisonment
  • Mental injury to a minor child
  • Stalking

Bryan was located and the Deputies served her with the Interim Protective Order. The court order explained that Amber Bryan must vacate the property.

Bryan refused to leave the property. She was arrested and charged with failing to comply with an Interim Protective Order.

Bryan was initially seen by a District Court of Maryland Commissioner and held without bond. A day later, she was taken in front of a District Court of Maryland Judge, where she was released on her own recognizance.
